During the 33rd National Selection Conference, which will take place in Osnabrück from the 26th to the 31st of May 2023, the participants will discuss how the European Union can work towards a culture of peace. As one of the sites of the Westphalian peace, Osnabrück is a symbol for successful peace processes. The 375th anniversary, celebrated in 2023, opens up opportunities for both cooperation, and shared projects with the city. Furthermore, the National Selection Conference is under the patronage of the European Parliament. During the event, about 160 young Europeans have the opportunity to engage in future-oriented dialogue on their ideas about a peaceful transnational partnership.
